This is a type of strong tropical cyclone. It’s a large weather system which is centered in a huge low-pressure area. The area of torming tropical storm usually is in the tropics. Hurricanes appear only over warm water of sea and ocean. Hot air rises from the water surface and becomes a quick and extremely powerful movement of the air. Air swirls in an anti-clockwise direction around an eye (the center, normally clear and calm). Strong hurricanes bring a lot of destruction.
Safety Tips:
- Use windows storm shutters.
- Be sure that you have all necessary supplies, first aid kit, food and water at list for a week.
- When a watch or warning is issued, live low lying areas.
- During the hurricane stay in secure room and don't come to windows
- Better do not use phone and candles.
